Belgian electronica duet Sylver (at one time known as Liquid ft. Sylvie) emerged in 2000. Their debut single, called "Turn the Tide," climbed to the teetotum of the official local club/dance graph shortly after its release. Producer Regi Penxten and DJ/keyboardist Wout van Dessel (natural 1974) were joined by singer Silvy De Bie (natural 1981) to gather an electronica-oriented act and join the Europop scenery. After the vast success of their first undivided, "Skin" followed in January and "Forever In Love" in April 2001. Sylver's album Chances featured their pip songs and remixes.
